Dog suddenly ran around house jumping on furniture?
My 7 year old yorkie suddenly got up and ran around house jumping up on the furniture then going behind the furniture around the coffee table over and over again. This was not normal, he acted stressed. He also went to the corner and put paws up on the wall. Thought he needed to go outside but all he did was wander around aimlessly. This all lasted about 3 minutes. He was panting a lot. He would not respond to me. It was like he was going crazy. Has anyone ever heard or seen this?

We have a 14 week old puppy, how can we stop him barking through the night, jumping on furniture?
We have a 14 week old pointer pup. We got him at 9 weeks and he hasn't slept all night since we bought him home. He sleeps in a crate and we've tried all of the usual suggestions. He continually wakes up and barks from about 4.30 without stopping until we go down to him. He also continually jumps up on the sofa, we put him off and seconds later he tries again. He doesn't mess in the house unless he's left for a long time.It is causing a real strain on the family as we are getting no enjoyment from him. My partner wants to get rid of him. I'm inclined to keep him and hopefully it will get better it just seems there is no end in sight and now the neighbours have started complaining. He's starting puppy training in a couple of weeks. Does any one have any helpful advice?

How can you train a cat to stop clawing and jumping on furniture?
my cat likes to use my couch as a scratch board, even though he has a actual scratch board of his own that he uses frequently, he also has his own bed that he sleeps in frequently, but he still sleeps on my couch. If anyone has any tips to help break my cat of these habits, I would greatly appreciate it.

Whats the best way to stop puppies jumping on furniture ?
Everytime our puppy enters the living room he jumps on furniture, we are forever telling him to get down dragging him off, then praising him but he's straight back up there, he tests your patience.

Cat jumping on furniture?
My eleven year old neutered male cat has recently taken to running and jumping on tables and furniture all the time. He likes to jump onto the piano keys while I'm playing and onto the table while we're eating. We've had him since he was one and this is very unlike him.Have you any idea what it wrong with him?I've tried getting him to play with a ball he likes, but he isn't interested.

Does a dog know the difference between jumping on furniture with one person and not another?
I have a Bernese Mountain Dog and I allow him to come on the furniture with me but the rest of the family doesn't want him on the furniture with them. He is very well trained but if I allow him to come on the couch with me, will he jump up on the couch with my family when Im not around? He is very intelligent and behaves well around certain people rather then others. I allow him to do a lot of things but when it comes down to business he knows to obey when i ask.

Puppy Jumping on furniture?
I have 6 month old Yorkshire Terrier and she jumps on the furniture, chairs, couch. What is the best way to stop her from doing this?

Is it bad if my preggers pup jumps on furniture?
Ive estimated she is about five to 6 weeks and I'm a little concerned.I'm sure her pups'll be fine but I'd like a little reassurance. Ive noticed she has begun to slow down in her usual rowdiness and I'm sure she'll stop if it gets to her but want to stop any future injuries.Thanks.

My 7 month old pup gets excited and then doesn't listen, jumps on furniture, and does laps around the house?
She's a 7 month old Basenji, she gets really excited when she sees another dog on a walk, or when roomates come home. Her mind seems to go blank, as all of her listening skills that she normally has completely disappear. She is really smart and I spend a lot of time working with her never to a trainer, I just am learning as I go here . I'm curious on any methods to gain the dogs attention when she gets sooo excited and stops listening.
